MADRID, Oct 8. (Xinhua) -- Sevilla goalkeeper Andres Palop urged on Wednesday his teammates and supporters continue to keep their feet on the ground despite a positive start to the season.
"Nobody has said that we are Champions yet, we have a good squad and it is well balanced in all areas of the pitch," he said on the club's website.
"Out objective is to play as well as we have done in recent season and to be among the top four. At the moment, after having played just six games, it is an error to say that you can be Champions."
Sevilla, currently third in the Primera Liga with 14 points, just two behind joint leaders Valencia and Villarreal, defeated last weekend Athletic Club Bilbao 4-0 to send expectations sky high.
As Sevilla qualified two seasons ago for the Champions League and also won the UEFA Cup, they are this year's hopeful to win the league title.
However, the goalkeeper believes it is still early for everyone to be getting their hopes up.
